Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Marine Shipfitters for projects located in and around the Calvert City, KY area. This is a second shift opportunity with a pay rate of $20-22/hour based on experience plus $100/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job-site. If you are a Marine Shipfitter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career

Job Scope:

  • Work with stainless & carbon
  • Layout damaged areas on vessel & cut out steel on boat without damaging adjacent plates
  • Wash off welds
  • Hold plates, frame together with cutting torch
  • Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
  • 5+ Years of Shipfitting Experience
  • Shipfitter Test
  • Ability to Read Blueprints
  • Hand Tools
  • Proper PPE
