They are looking for a Human Resource Manager to be based in their Peninsula office. Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office and 2 remote. Responsibilities Partner with department leaders to address staffing needs, lead recruitment for non-attorney timekeeper roles, and support workforce planning. Manage employee relations, including investigations, counseling, disciplinary actions, and performance separations. Oversee performance management and compensation processes, including merit reviews, market adjustments, and separation agreements. Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, conduct FLSA audits, and advise on HR policy interpretation. Collaborate with HR leadership on training, professional development, and department-specific competency programs. Support strategic HR initiatives including AI integration, crisis management, and continuous process improvement within HR operations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM) preferred. 5+ years of HR experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements. Advanced Excel skills and experience with HRIS systems such as Workday. Exceptional writing ability, including experience drafting counseling and separation documentation. Salary: Up to 170K. Outstanding benefits package.
