Responsibilities and practice Dentons US LLP is seeking a mid-level associate to join our sophisticated Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in our Washington, DC office. Candidates should have 4-6 years of complex litigation experience, excellent academic credentials, and an interest in high-level insurance coverage litigation, dispute analysis, and coverage assessments. Our associates work collaboratively with our partners and clients and are key members of our team. Expected responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Drafting complex case evaluations, pleadings, motions and other litigation documents Working on all aspects of litigation from inception through trial and appeal where relevant Conducting legal research and writing memoranda Conducting, propounding and responding to discovery (documents, written discovery, depositions) Working with clients, witnesses, experts and other counsel Analyzing insurance coverage and extra-contractual disputes, including drafting coverage opinions or other coverage analyses This is an excellent opportunity to work with dedicated lawyers who are passionate about their work, all while enjoying the benefits of an international law firm. Pursuant to DC law, the salary range for this position will be $270,000 to $315,000, based on experience. Based on years of experience, Dentons associates may have a title of Associate, Managing Associate, or Senior Managing Associate.
