Location: Tillo's Kitchen + Patio @ Ocotillo Golf Club - Chandler, AZ

Reports To: Executive Chef

Pay Range: DOE

"Tillo's Kitchen & Patio, located at the Ocotillo Golf Club. This space is where sports bar meets family restaurant. Offering American cuisine made fresh from scratch everyday. Our Executive Chef, Scott Curtis, offers weekly and daily specials. We have plenty of TV's inside and outside with a relaxing atmosphere, Tillo's Kitchen & Patio is the perfect spot for just about any occasion."

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook will play a vital role in prepping and cooking high quality dishes from scratch for our members and guests in the restaurant and potentially for high volume events. This role will contribute to the overall dining experience at our club. This role will also provide an opportunity for growth in a high pace and culinary focused environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Follow recipes and prepare ingredients for menu items according to established standards.
  • Ensure food is prepared accurately, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
  • Cook and assemble dishes according to menu specifications and presentation guidelines.
  • Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality.
  • Set up stations with necessary ingredients, equipment, and utensils before service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the shift and assist in end-of-day cleanup.
  • Familiarize yourself with the menu offerings, including ingredients, cooking methods, and allergen information.
  • Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff regarding menu changes and special requests.
  • Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook in a restaurant or similar setting.
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for food and cooking.
  • Must be able to work in a team and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
