We take working hard, having fun, and making history seriously.AWS Finance seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support AWS, and more specifically its AWS Networking Services business. This position will work closely with senior finance management and key business partners to drive financial planning, decision support, controllership, and financial reporting for all AWS Networking Services including Elastic Load Balancing, Nat Gateway, CloudFront, Direct Connect, Private Link, Transit Gateway, among others.ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional business discussions with Networking services stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making and operational excellencePartner with business and finance leaders to identify key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities across all Networking service linesProvide analytical insights and recommendations to support business strategy development and executionOwn the monthly financial reporting process for all Networking services, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and actionable insightsDrive and manage key reporting timelines including weekly business reviews, monthly closes, and quarterly planning cyclesCoordinate cross-functional data collection and validation processes to ensure reporting accuracyConsolidate and analyze key performance metrics including revenue, usage patterns, infrastructure cost, and profitability measuresDevelop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and executive-level reporting packagesSynthesize complex financial and operational data from multiple sources to create coherent business narrativesConduct competitive benchmarking analysis to assess Networking services performance relative to market standardsMonitor industry trends, pricing dynamics, and competitive positioning to inform strategic planningBegin analyzing the prior week's revenue metrics and preparing variance commentary for the weekly Networking services business reviewReview monthly performance against plan, identifying key drivers behind revenue fluctuationsSynthesize financial data from multiple service lines into executive-ready insightsFacilitate discussions between business and finance leadership on performance drivers and competitive positioningUpdate monthly reporting packages, conduct variance analysis, and prepare revenue commentary connecting financial results to operational driversAbout The TeamAWS Networking Services has the feel of a start-up, but with the resources of one of the world’s largest and most successful companies. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market.
