We are seeking a dedicatedand compassionate Neonatology Physician to join our team at a communityLevel-III NICU in Palm Springs, California. This facility features a 30-bedNICU, with an average daily census of 21 patients and approximately 550 admissionsannually. br>
In this role, you willprovide comprehensive care for neonates in a Level-III NICU setting, includingthe management of high-risk infants and critically ill newborns. You willparticipate in a high-risk follow-up clinic to monitor and support the developmentof patients after discharge. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team isessential to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.

Additionally, you will havethe opportunity to engage in Pediatrix national quality initiatives aimed atenhancing neonatal care and improving patient outcomes. Teaching and mentoringresidents and medical students will be an integral part of your responsibilities,contributing to their education and development in the field of pediatrics andneonatology. Effective communication with families regarding the health statusand treatment plans for their infants is crucial. You will also participate inquality improvement projects and ensure compliance with hospital policies andprotocols.

Compensation: $230K-$280K plusbenefits and bonus potential

Qualifications:
  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatrics.
  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
  • Active California medical license or willingness to obtain one.
