Company Description qBraid is a leading cloud platform for quantum computing that provides researchers and developers worldwide with powerful tools to build and deploy quantum solutions. With over 24,000 users across 100+ countries using more than 20 quantum processing units (QPUs) and on-demand simulators on our platform, qBraid is on a mission to build the software infrastructure for these new kinds of computers. qBraid has established partnerships with almost every major company building quantum computers. Our platform includes pre-configured, cloud-hosted development environments via an intuitive web-based IDE, and supports remote access to quantum backends and other high-performance computing resources like GPUs. qBraid is the quantum ecosystem’s one-stop platform, making complex quantum tools and hardware readily accessible and easy to use. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Full Stack Engineer at qBraid, based in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, building integrations with REST APIs and databases, writing automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end), and configuring CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment. You’ll play a key role not only in delivering new features and functionality but also in influencing upcoming features, scoping technical requirements, and collaborating closely with other engineers, first as a team member and, eventually, as a project lead. Quantum computing is still in its infancy, and the ideal UI/UX for this new paradigm has yet to be created. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer, or in a related technical role working at a Fortune 200 company or hyper-growth startup Experience with testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright or similar E2E frameworks Experience with version control, CI/CD workflows, and automation using Git and GitHub Actions. Knowledge of both relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis). Proven ability to leverage AI-powered coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) in development workflow to ship high-quality code with speed and efficiency Confidence in shipping end-to-end products Adaptable and comfortable in dynamic, high-velocity environments, with evolving market conditions. Bonus Qualifications Familiarity with quantum computing (nice to have, but not required) Familiarity with AI-driven orchestration frameworks (including MCP servers or comparable agent tooling) to support development of advanced, tool-integrated chat interfaces. Previous experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
