OverviewSt. Peters Health Partners is seeking additional full-time Hospitalists to join the Samaritan Hospital, Hospital Medicine team located in Troy, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established hospital medicine program with excellent colleagues, strong system practice support and a physician-friendly environment.Samaritan Hospitalist nocturnist physicians work a schedule of 7 on/7 off with 12-hour shifts. We are currently seeking physicians for the shift hours of 7 pm – 7 am. We have a closed ICU model with 24/7 in-house intensivist support. APPs are part of our team.ResponsibilitiesThe hospitalist team provides inpatient hospital medicine coverage with a focus on patient care and coordination. You will be part of a collegial and collaborative team with strong support from nursing, ED and specialty staff, in a positive, team-oriented atmosphere that emphasizes provider well-being. There is a dedicated hospitalist workspace centrally located within the Emergency Department for streamlined communication and care coordination.QualificationsCandidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and must be able to obtain a New York State licensure and DEA. New graduates are encouraged to apply. This opportunity is not accepting J1 or H1B visa candidates.Practice environment and supportOn-site administrative, IT and case management support.
