About the Opportunity:

Role Summary:
As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will be a key member of our laboratory team, working under the guidance of the Laboratory Director. Your role involves conducting a variety of laboratory tests, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance.

Primary Responsibilities:

Execute laboratory tests following established guidelines and accurately document results.
Evaluate specimen quality and take corrective actions when specimens are unsuitable.
Inform clients about necessary specimen recollection procedures when needed.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to laboratory equipment.
Verify test results and ensure they correspond correctly with patient samples.
Organize, label, and document test samples for efficient processing and retrieval.

Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (MLT / MT) or a related field from an accredited institution.
ASCP certification or eligibility for certification.
Skilled in laboratory techniques, equipment operation, and quality control processes.
Preferably experienced in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting.
Knowledgeable in laboratory information systems and computer software.
