RN Correctional Needs

A Registered Nurse (RN) in a corrections facility provides essential medical care to inmates, including routine health assessments, administering medications, and managing chronic conditions. They respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid and emergency care as needed. The RN also conducts health education sessions to promote wellness and disease prevention among the incarcerated population. They collaborate with physicians, mental health professionals, and other healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized care plans. Additionally, the RN maintains accurate medical records and ensures compliance with healthcare policies and regulations within the correctional setting.

Duration: 13 weeks with option to extend

Shift: Days, 3-11,with Th/Fri or Mon/ Tues off

Pay: $75 blended hourly rate

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 49 per week
