OverviewNewYork-Presbyterian Westchester seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Neonatologist for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. The Westchester campus (formerly NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital) provides access to primary care physicians and specialists from ColumbiaDoctors and NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Westchester. Located in Bronxville, NY, the facility includes a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a newborn nursery, and a 6-bed pediatric unit, with a 288-bed campus that offers a cancer center, maternity center, breast health center, two cardiac catheterization labs, and a NYS-designated Stroke Center. NYP Westchester delivers approximately 2,000 babies per year and emergency care to about 35,000 individuals annually.ResponsibilitiesProvide coverage in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Delivery Room at NYP Westchester and Allen Hospital, with additional Well Baby coverage as needed.Possibility to participate in rotations as an Attending Neonatologist at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital NICU, delivering the highest level of care for patients with critical illness.Attend weekly divisional faculty meetings, participate in resident and fellow education, and attend educational conferences when possible.As a faculty member, participate in Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives at Westchester, Allen, and MSCH, collaborating with the NYP QI team to standardize guidelines and enhance clinical management across NYP NICUs. Opportunities to engage in bioethics and clinical research may be supported and encouraged but are not required.Westchester County is described as a desirable suburban area with easy access to New York City, offering natural beauty and a variety of cultural and educational amenities.QualificationsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics with specialization in Neonatology.Experience or interest in community-based neonatology and joining a growing program.Compensation & BenefitsHiring Salary Range: $230,000 - $252,300 per year. The final salary will be determined based on factors including departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, and training.
