As an Office Medical Director, you will lead your local team in clinical excellence and sustainability. In collaboration with your manager, the District Medical Director and the Office Manager, you will solve problems and shape organizational priorities. You will continually develop your management and leadership skills as you learn about our business and operations and engage your local team.Employment TypeFull timeWhat You’ll Be Working OnManaging a team of in-office providers (MDs, DOs, NPs, and/or PAs) and ensuring that providers meet our clinical standards and patient care needsGuiding and supporting providers’ professional developmentPartnering with the Office Manager to support a collaborative, positive office communityManaging communication between your office and other districts, regional and central teams; representing One Medical to the local communityOwning specific office management and HR functionsManaging a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting acute, chronic and well visitsTreating patients in-office or in testing centers and conducting occasional telehealth visitsParticipating in weekly Clinical Rounds and ongoing learning opportunitiesCollaborating with in-office teammates via daily huddles and with virtual clinical teamsUtilizing your clinical training to perform in-office proceduresSupervising one or more PA colleaguesEducation, Licenses, And Experiences Required For This RoleCompleted an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency programPracticed at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting, or completed a residency within the last 5 yearsMinimum of 1 year managing a team of providersBoard certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of start dateState licensed in Georgia, obtained before start dateOne Medical Office Medical Directors Also DemonstrateA passion for human-centered primary careClinical proficiency in evidence-based primary careCommitment to developing others through coaching and feedback aligned with organizational goalsAbility to establish clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and accountabilityAbility to address difficult issues and support others in addressing themAbility to build diverse, high-performing teamsAbility to create a climate where people are motivated to do their best by inviting input and shared ownershipRelocation and BenefitsRelocation assistance may be available for this role.
