Community Action Partnerships of Western Nebraska (CAPWN) is a non-profit community-based health and human services organization that serves low-income, disadvantaged and those unable to meet their needs through other sources. The agency was established in 1965 and provides services to over 9,000 individuals, children and families in three main areas:

* Community Health Services: WIC, Commodity Supplemental Food, Foster Grandparents, Migrant Seasonal Head Start, and Child Development Center.
* Clinical Health Services: Primary Care, Reproductive Health, Diabetes Management, Immunizations, Migrant Health, Ryan White HIV; Behavioral Health including Counseling Services, Medication Management, Medication Assisted Treatment and Substance Use Counseling and Intensive Outpatient Services and Dental Services.
* Supportive Health Services: Family Stabilization, a Teen Outreach Program, SOAR, Youth Leadership Program, Youth Shelter and Housing Assistance Programs.

Co-Occurring Intensive Outpatient Program Facilitator (PLMHP/LMHP/LIMHP)

Non-Exempt, 10 1/2 hours a week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 5:30PM to 9:00PM

Onsite- Gering Nebraska

Areas of Responsibility: To co-facilitate Adult Clients in recovery from substance abuse and co-occurring disorders in a group setting using evidence-based practices

Major Duties:

* Utilize psychoeducation and psychotherapy as appropriate in a group setting utilizing the IOP curriculum.
* Maintaining accurate patient documentation in a timely manner
* Collaborate to co-facilitate group with a qualified Substance Use Counselor
* Conduct drug screening and breathalyzers
* Maintain confidentiality of records and communications following CAPWN policy and HIPAA privacy and security policies and procedures.
* Teach patients, families, and staff techniques to enhance their care, prevention, and treatment.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, table or working at a computer.
* Work is frequently stressful and requires the ability to meet tight timelines.
* The noise level in the work environment is average.
* Work must be completed with minimal supervision and requires self-motivated individual.
* Clinic environment includes patient interaction, training, meetings, and community interaction.
* Telehealth opportunities based upon client needs.
* Well-lit, temperature-controlled clinical setting, with standard medical and office equipment available
* Evening hours.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to bend, stoop, swat, crouch, push and pull file drawers.
* Fine manipulation of hands for repetitive action.
* Operate office machines.
* Must regularly talk, hear, and have close vision ability.
* Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds.

Minimum Qualifications:

Grade: 20

* Master's degree in Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
* Current Nebraska license or provisional license as a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner, a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner or a Psychologist.
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
* Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of mental health disorders.
* Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of mental dysfunctions, and for career counseling and guidance.
* Knowledge of group behavior and dynamics, societal trends and influences, ethnicity, and cultures.
* Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

Grade: 21

* Meet qualifications above AND
* Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) with one-two years' experience in mental health counseling and/or substance abuse.

Grade: 22

* Meet qualifications above AND
* Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) with three - five years' experience in mental health counseling and/or substance abuse. OR
* Licensed as Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP)

Grade: 23

* Meet qualifications above AND
* Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) with six plus years' experience in mental health counseling and/or substance abuse. OR
* Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner with 1-2 years' experience in mental health counseling and/or substance abuse.

Grade: 24

* Meet qualifications above AND
* Licensed as Independent Mental Health Practitioner with 3 or more years' experience in mental health counseling and/or substance abuse.
