Position Summary
The Move In Coordinator assists and welcomes incoming residents to facilitate a smooth move in process. Provides administrative support to sales team to reach occupancy goals in accordance with all laws, regulations and Century Park standards. Reports to the Sales Director.
Qualifications
* Must have high school diploma or equivalent
* Previous experience in senior services preferred
Primary Job Responsibilities
* Coordinates move in process and ensures its smooth delivery
* Keeps move in information updated and communicated to appropriate staff
* Prepares move in documentation
* Notifies Maintenance Director of pending move ins
* Assists new residents in coordinating move in dates and times
* Arranges for movers and assists residents in placement of furniture which may involve a home visit
* Notifies resident of utilities procedures
* Inspects apartment prior to move in to ensure cleanliness and readiness for occupancy
* Provides 48 hour notice to Department Managers prior to resident's move in date
* Orders move in welcome gift
* Greets all new residents with keys and move in gift on moving day
* Introduces new residents to current residents and staff
* Works with support services to maintain stock of brochures, stationary, business cards and other marketing supplies
* Assists with planning and executing special marketing activities
* Assists with compiling accurate, timely marketing data for marketing reports
* Provides support and assistance to sales team as needed
* Provides coverage for front desk as needed
Additional Requirements
* Must enjoy serving seniors
* Must demonstrate excellent customer service and hospitality
* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Must understand urgency to build occupancy
* Must be well organized and detail oriented
* Must meet deadlines in accordance with established move in goals and timelines
* Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
* Must be knowledgeable of business development practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing business development in an assisted living community
* Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the business development department
* Must perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: general business development responsibilities, resident rights, and safety and sanitation
* Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
* Maintains professional working relationship with associates, vendors, etc.
* Must understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
* Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Century Parks? Code of Ethics and completes all required compliance training
