We offer eight-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings until 7:30pm and occasional Saturday mornings, 8am-12pm. The office is closed on eight major holidays, or observed holidaysIf you are looking for dynamic learning opportunities focused on patient centered medical home and continual advancements all while receiving exceptional pay, then we invite you to join our team of LPN clinical staff in our outpatient primary care office. Training includes an orientation period allowing you to become familiar with practice workflows. We incorporate a nursing model with a team approach to meet the needs of the patient population.Position HighlightsProfessional Relationships: Strong rapport with the interdisciplinary care team.Advancement: Strong orientation program and generous tuition allowance.Work/Life: Monday through Friday day shifts (occasional evening and Saturday mornings) to balance your work/life and school calendars.What You Will DoTherapeutic nursing interventions, inclusive of medical history and present illnessCare for patients from newborn to geriatric age groupMedication and vaccine administration upon completion of on-site training.Assist with procedures and perform point of care testingDocumentation using the EPIC electronic health record system.Collaborative team approach: with interdisciplinary team of registered nurses, medical assistants, and providersResponsibilitiesEnsures quality nursing care is rendered to all patients in accordance with the New York Nurse Practice Act, National Standards of Practice, and Nursing and Clinical Service standards of care and practice.Utilizing the Nursing Process is involved in the provision of direct care of patients and families. Work Environment And HazardsClinical setting. Exposure Class IPhysical DemandsMedium work: must be able to lift 25 pounds frequently; occasionally lifting maximum of 50 pounds. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
