This role demands a commitment to evidence-based practice, patient education, and continuous professional development to meet the evolving needs of the community served by Morgan Medical Center.Minimum Qualifications:Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN, DNP) or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.Current and unrestricted Advanced Practice Provider licensure in the state of practice.Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) by a recognized certifying body.Minimum of two years clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting.Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in a multi-specialty clinical environment.Specialty certification relevant to the clinical area of practice (e.g., Family, General Surgery, Wound Care, GYN, Cardiology).Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation software.Strong background in patient education and chronic disease management.Participation in professional organizations and ongoing continuing education.Responsibilities:Conduct thorough patient assessments including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.Prescribe medications and therapies within the scope of practice and monitor patient responses.Provide patient education on disease prevention, management, and health promotion.Document all patient interactions accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.Stay current with medical advancements and integrate evidence-based practices into clinical care.Assist in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical research activities as appropriate.Skills:The Advanced Practice Provider utilizes clinical assessment and diagnostic skills daily to evaluate patient conditions accurately and develop effective treatment plans. Strong communication skills are essential for educating patients and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care. Proficiency with electronic health records enables efficient documentation and data management, supporting quality patient care and compliance. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are applied continuously to adapt treatment approaches based on patient responses and emerging clinical evidence.
