The candidate for this position will be responsible for all agency and regulatory-related items on the cooking appliances team for the North American market. Core focus areas include regulatory strategy, compliance, test standards, product design, root cause failure analysis, and product planning to comply with current and upcoming regulations

- tc.Participate in AHAM committees as an active, voting member representing Midea best interest and be aligned to support the overall product strategy and product divisi
- on.Assist product planning with expertise in regulatory federal and state law. Understanding of differences between various state and federal requirements, and train and coach design teams in both US and in China to understand and assist in delivering compliant products into the
- US.Manage all third-party agency audit testing for cooking produc
- ts.Manage the overall product compliance aspect– including being the expert related to applicable safety standards and requirements, including and not limited to UL-858, CSA 2
