Job Details Job Title: Sr. Supervisor, Operations Management Job Code: 30446> Job Location: Anaheim, CA Schedule: 9/80 Job Description This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Operations Management and maintains responsibility for leading the employees involved in the Production Test of both Magnetics and Electro‑Mechanical products. The role ensures quality, direct cost control, and timely delivery of assigned programs, including staff evaluation and counseling/disciplining of employees. It is responsible for meeting required contract milestones and Program Office requirements. Essential Functions Create teamwork and motivate employees to achieve team goals. Assure regular/frequent communications to all teammates regarding current and future program requirements, production load, production assignments, and current performance. Improve efficiency and assembly throughput while maintaining departmental quality objectives. Report regularly to Associate, Operations Manager, on production/material issues and problems affecting the area of responsibility. Manage all employees under direct supervision, conduct periodic performance reviews and issue counseling, warnings or discipline as required. Instruct or train Manufacturing leads and employees in correct manufacturing practices and procedures to ensure consistent quality and output of work. Interface with support groups such as Planning, Program Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure schedules, processes and procedures are maintained. Execute production plans in accordance with Planning Dispatch and SOD reports and provide direction on manpower distribution among teams to ensure timeliness of scheduled completion dates. Justify personnel requisitions for new or replacement employees as required and present to Operations management for approval. Provide direct labor estimates for products produced under management. Work closely with the Manufacturing Engineering group on the selection of tools or tooling required to assemble products. Attend regular meetings and report status and problems associated with products under direct responsibility. Demonstrate ability and leadership qualities to supervise personnel in a non‑confrontational manner while achieving maximum efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned by Management. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience; or 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree. Understanding of basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution. Knowledge in Lean Methodologies including 5S and Gemba Boards/Walks. Experience supervising personnel winding, assembling and soldering products to high‑quality commercial requirements (ANSI/J‑STD‑001, IPC‑A‑610, IPC/WHMA‑A‑620). Proficiency in interpreting assembly and wiring drawings and use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Team player with strong conviction towards process control, discipline, and willingness to uphold L3Harris Values/Behaviors. Willingness to enforce company rules and regulations effectively and professionally. Exceptional people skills and job knowledge with ability to motivate subordinates. Demonstrated skills in organization, clear communication, ethical practices, dependability, process and procedure implementation, and leadership abilities. Salary & Benefits In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California is $75,000 – $139,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation; final offer may vary based on experience and geographic location.
