Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care (PVESC) is building a special place where our team members can thrive, grow and learn as they help us provide exceptional veterinary care and client service. We are a 26 doctor emergency and specialty veterinary practice including surgery, internal medicine, oncology, dermatology, neurology, emergency & critical care, and cardiology. There is no limit to what you can learn here, and what level of success you can achieve.


PVESC has current full-time openings in our emergency department for veterinary technician specialists (VTS) in ECC and licensed/certified veterinary technicians. We have various shift opportunities to fit everyone's scheduling needs, including daytime, evening, weekend and overnight.


Our large staff allows us to take a team approach to patient care. Values that guide us in patient care are compassion, kindness, respect, quality, and communication. If you are a technician with exceptional written and oral communication skills and attention to detail, we're looking for you


Our facility has a new technology CT machine, MRI, digital radiology, three surgical suites, in-house IDEXX lab machines, ultrasound, endoscopy, pulse-wave therapy, laser therapy, advanced monitoring equipment and so much more.
