Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Cutover Project Manager to join the SAP Unify Program for a leading healthcare manufacturer client. The successful candidate will lead the transition from legacy systems and ECC to SAP S/4HANA within our manufacturing operations; this includes managing projects in the context of a larger complex program that spans across multiple manufacturing sites with varying SAP versions and customizations, with the ultimate goal of transitioning all sites to S/4 Hana. This role demands a proactive leader who has successfully managed end-to-end ERP implementations, with a strong focus on Cutover Planning and execution. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing multiple workstreams within SAP manufacturing and related modules, anticipating risks and challenges, and ensuring a seamless transition during the cutover phase.


Responsibilities:

  • Cutover Planning & Execution: Lead the creation and execution of a detailed Cutover plan, coordinating activities across multiple workstreams to ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA with minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, ensuring all phases, including design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live, are completed on time and within budget.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and challenges related to the cutover process, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate efforts across various workstreams, including IT, manufacturing operations, supply chain, and finance, to ensure alignment and readiness for cutover activities.
  • Engage with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring buy-in throughout the project.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of the new system across manufacturing sites, including user training and support.
  • Occasionally travel to manufacturing sites to oversee on-the-ground cutover activities, ensuring that local teams are prepared and that any issues are addressed in real-time.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of SAP project management experience, ideally 10+ years of project management experience (PMP Preferred)
  • Proven experience in Cutover Planning and execution, particularly in complex ERP migration projects.
  • Strong familiarity with Waterfall methodology or ASAP methodology.
  • Deep understanding of SAP manufacturing and related modules, with the ability to collaborate with multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams to successful project completion.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to drive business forward and ensure accountability to project plans and timelines.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; PMP or SAP certification is a plus.
