Construction Inspector Cowan Group Engineering (CGE) seeks a hard-working and driven Construction Inspector to assist construction engineers in various duties across projects and services provided to clients. What You’ll Do Assist construction engineers and design engineers with field inspection of current projects in a variety of disciplines to ensure contractor compliance requirements of contract plans and specifications Read and understand civil engineering and construction plans, blueprints and maps Ability to work in all types of weather conditions Ability to follow and execute specific instructions independently with minimal supervision Job Requirements Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience ODOT or OTA construction inspection experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent Strong written and verbal communication skills Willingness to work in office, in the field, and travel as necessary 100% company-paid health, dental and vision insurance for team members + 85% paid for dependents with day one benefits 401k match up to 5% Four weeks of PTO your first year + an extra day for your birthday Fun culture with company-sponsored events and outings Who We Are At Cowan Group Engineering (CGE), we believe engineering is more than just technical expertise; it is stewardship.
