Our culture in Risk Management and Compliance emphasizes thinking outside the box, challenging the status quo, and striving to be best-in-class.As an Affordable Housing Credit officer on the Community Development Real Estate team, you will play an integral role in the bank’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) mission by financing the construction of affordable housing. You will lead evaluating transactions, preparing credit packages, closing transactions, and monitoring projects through repayment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop best practices through accountability and leadershipPrepare and review credit packages, including development budgets and project economicsPrepare and present credit packages, identifying a transaction’s credit riskProvide accurate analysis, and present findings and recommendations to senior managementReview third-party reports and loan documentsCollaborate and communicate with external and internal stakeholdersManage projects and closing timelinesAttend site visits and industry eventsManage a portfolio of loans, reporting on projects under construction, collaborating on annual reviews, and preparing modificationsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities And SkillsMinimum 7 years of experience in community development real estateExperience in affordable housing finance, including Low Income Housing Tax Credits and subsidy financingExcellent teamwork and customer service, consistently delivering on commitments to colleagues and clientsLeadership and analytical skills, with experience synthesizing information, developing recommendations, making decisions, and problem solvingProject management skills, demonstrating organization, timeliness, execution, and collaborationAttention to detailProficient in Microsoft OfficeMaster’s or bachelor’s degreeAbout UsJPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
