Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience in Wi-Fi Cable Modems (DOCSIS/RDK) and Customer Premise Equipments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for innovation in the Telecom domain. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both remotely and on-site with no travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative solutions for Wi-Fi Cable Modems (DOCSIS/RDK) and Customer Premise Equipments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee the implementation of architectural solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and performance standards.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  • Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues related to Wi-Fi Cable Modems and Customer Premise Equipments.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in Telecom technologies.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all architectural designs and implementations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all technical solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope objectives and deliverables.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools technologies and processes to enhance the development workflow.
  • Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the companys technology initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong technical background in Wi-Fi Cable Modems (DOCSIS/RDK) and Customer Premise Equipments.
  • Demonstrate experience in designing and implementing complex architectural solutions.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Have a deep understanding of industry standards and best practices in Telecom technologies.
  • Show proficiency in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Display strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Have a passion for innovation and staying updated with the latest industry trends.
  • Experience in the Telecom domain is a plus.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Strong documentation skills to maintain comprehensive records of architectural designs and implementations.
  • Proficiency in evaluating and recommending new tools and technologies.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model with flexibility for remote and on-site work.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $120K to 150K

depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
