Merchandiser Travel Retail Ser Lead – Acosta General Information Company: ACO-US Location: Greenville, South Carolina, 29611 Ref #: 63724 Pay Rate: $17.00 Position: Full‑time Benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance Company‑paid life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability 401k program Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) program Description and Requirements Merchandiser Travel Retail Ser Lead is responsible for representing Acosta, our clients, and our customers by effectively leading a team and performing reset and remodel work including implementation of planograms, new item placement, void corrections, and special merchandising activity. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter, quick learner, has a strong attention to detail, and works well in a team or independent situation. They must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with business partners. What will you do? Serve as a team lead in the organization and execution of reset and remodel work. Effectively partner with store personnel for the scheduling and communication of reset and remodel work. Read and follow planograms to effectively complete reset and remodel work. Have a working knowledge of merchandising and retail terminology. Partner with store personnel and co‑workers to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence, discuss changes, and build an effective working relationship. Effectively and accurately prepare, process, submit, and manage documentation related to assigned reset and remodel work. Perform job safely by demonstrating full awareness of surroundings, utilizing proper safety techniques and equipment, and proactively alerting management to any unsafe act or condition. Understand and follow all Acosta policies and standard operating procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED (some experience may be substituted). 3+ years supervisory/management experience with authority to direct and oversee employees’ daily work activities. 3+ years customer service experience preferred. Prior sales agent, retail, and reset responsibility experience preferred. Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with business partners. Comfortable utilizing technology (smartphones, computers, copiers/faxes, handheld devices). Strong demonstration of core competencies: quality commitment, detail orientation, customer service, communication skills, and accurate work with web‑based applications (checking assignments, recording mileage, expenses, time, and attendance, completing training). Ability to work in cold environmental conditions (e.g., refrigerated and freezer sections) for limited periods of time. Strong interpersonal, organizational, decision‑making, and leadership skills; ability to read and communicate effectively with others. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for extended periods. Travel required, with overnight stays up to 75–100% of the time; occasional weekend work may be required. Must be at least 21 years of age to comply with travel program requirements.
