This role is essential in ensuring the proper installation, repair, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in various residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Licensed in multiple states, Key Fire Protection delivers innovative solutions and superior service to ensure client safety and security.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Install fire sprinkler systems according to project specifications, building codes, and industry standards.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project drawings to ensure proper installation.Perform pipefitting tasks such as cutting, threading, grooving, and installing pipes, valves, and fittings.Assemble and secure piping systems in commercial, industrial, and residential environments.Conduct system testing and inspections to verify proper functionality and compliance with regulations.Diagnose and troubleshoot issues during installation or with existing fire protection systems and implement solutions.Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and handle them properly on job sites.Coordinate with other contractors and trades on site to ensure efficient work flow and project completion.Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients regarding project status and any challenges.The ideal candidate should possess:High school diploma or equivalent.3+ years of experience in fire protection systems is a plus, but not required.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics with precision.Proficiency in using hand and power tools related to fire sprinkler installation and repair.Willingness to learn and follow instructions.Ability to use basic hand tools and equipment.Good physical condition and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Valid state driver's license and a clean driving record.Ability to work overtime, out of town, or be on-call as needed.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits packageHealth Insurance OptionsMedical, Dental, Vision OptionsRetirement Plan OptionsIRA w/ MatchingPaid Time OffOpportunities for professional development and advancementSupportive and collaborative work environment.Travel OpportunitiesPer Diem PlanSchedule:Full TimeRotating On Call shift w/ additional earning potentialMonday to FridayWeekend and Evening PotentialWork Location:Jackson, TN and surrounding areas across the South EastReady to take the next step in your fire protection career?
