OverviewStore Manager in Training role at Dollar Tree Stores. This position focuses on on-the-job training to manage profitable store operations, maintain merchandising standards, and create an inviting atmosphere for customers. Location: Reno, Nevada. Employment type: Full-time. Salary range: Min $43,994.08 – Max $66,004.64. Responsibilities Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising, while coaching and correcting when appropriate Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while enforcing company policies and procedures Perform opening and closing procedures as needed Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate headquarters Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution Protect company assets Maintain a high level of customer service across the store Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions among customers, associates, and leaders Skills and Experience Minimum 3 years of prior retail management experience is preferred Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience is a plus Strong productivity management in freight processing Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation Perks and Benefits Employee Assistance Program Paid time off Retirement plans with matching contributions Employee Stock Purchase Program Educational Assistance Access to PerkSpot, an employee discount platform for goods and services And more About Dollar Tree Dollar Tree Stores is committed to complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and providing reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities.
