Job Summary and QualificationsActs as an information and guidance resource in designated areas throughout the hospital to enhance the total patient and guest experience. Provides patient activity coordination, patient flow direction and problem solving. Welcomes visitors and establishes positive first impressions. Answers telephones in a professional and courteous manner directing inquiries to appropriate location. Provides navigational assistance to visitors and patient families, escorting them to destination when appropriate. Designated areas include and are not limited to the service desks at Day Surgery, the main entrance reception desk, lobby pavilion, 2nd floor mother/baby, icu waiting areas, Heart and Vascular Tower and Emergency Department. Take ownership of and respond to complaints, concerns and other matters registered with the concierge in a timely manner, following up until issue is resolved.
