Job Duties

  • Assist in analyzing financial statements, preparing credit presentations, monitoring ongoing financial information and performing loan reviews
  • Ensure commercial lending functions operate within the regulations and policies of the credit union
  • Prepare credit presentations utilizing financial statement software and spreadsheets
  • Research UCC filings, DFI records, credit bureaus, and environmental records
  • Assist Commercial Lenders by gathering credit information on existing and prospective members
  • Assist Commercial Lenders with ongoing portfolio monitoring by preparing annual reviews, loan renewals, and monitoring required credit information
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree preferred, associate's degree in accounting, finance, or similar related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2 to 3 years of analyst experience, or related experience, preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows Software
  • An understanding of accounting concepts and how to apply them to financial statement analysis
  • Strong reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people on a daily basis
  • Able to work effectively with others in a cooperative and collective environment
