cGMP Chemist

Piper Companies is currently seeking a cGMP Chemist for an opportunity in Durham, North Carolina (NC), to join a multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer bringing forward life-saving medications and vaccines.

Responsibilities of the cGMP Chemist

• Support commercial wet chemistry testing and release for vaccine projects in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility
• Conduct pH release testing, Karl Fisher moisture titration, and urea colorimetric assays
• Perform preventive maintenance or calibration of instrumentation as required, undertake housekeeping responsibilities and follow safety regulation

Qualifications of the cGMP Chemist

• 1+ years of chemistry experience in a cGMP environment is highly preferred; a recent graduate with a degree in chemistry is also relevant
• Experience in wet/bench chemistry is required
• Familiarity with GMP documentation or LIMS is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related life science is required

Compensation for the cGMP Chemist

• Salary Range: $30.00 - $40.00 / hour
