This resource should have strong technical knowledge in the Payroll module of Oracle HCM. Job Title Oracle HCM Payroll Consultant Location Onsite for the first week in Charlotte NC, then fully remote. Job Responsibilities Follows the company software development lifecycle (SDLC) to design, code/configure, test, debug, and implement application programs. Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents. Collaborates with the respective teams to achieve quality and consistency. Enhances product knowledge and user understanding of the system to support the Payroll Technology Team. Assists the Payroll Technology team in testing Payroll HCM processes, identifying and analyzing bugs found during testing, and documenting them. Pay close attention to details when running the tests, documenting, and reporting results. Reports any defects and collaborates to find a resolution. Qualifications 3-6+ years of experience. Certified Oracle Cloud Payroll Practitioner (preferred, not required). Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud Payroll product. Understanding of end‑to‑end integrations between HR, Compensation and Payroll. Deep understanding of Payroll Processing, US Taxes and Payroll Accounting. Solid knowledge of creating and maintaining Elements and the Fast Formulas associated with it. Solid knowledge of the tables used in Oracle HCM for support and reporting needs. Use of Oracle Cloud methodologies to create new, enhance, and troubleshoot components/tools such as HDL/HSDL, Fast Formulas, HCM Extract and OTBI, BI Publisher. Knowledge of PL‑SQL and OIC desirable.
