Oliverian School is looking for a weekend chef to prepare and serve meals during the school year. The chef will work with the school’s head chef to plan, prepare, and serve healthy, delicious, locally-sourced meals to our small community of students and faculty.

Oliverian is an alternative, college-preparatory boarding high school for bright adolescents who have not felt at home in traditional settings. Our supportive academic and student-life program helps students embrace their unique identity, purpose, and voice so that they can contribute to any situation and find their place the world. All of our faculty, including our kitchen team, are in a position to change lives in this warm, caring community.

*Responsibilities include*

· Plan and provide delicious, healthy meals 3 days per week Friday - Sunday

· Assist the head chef for special events (family weekends, graduation, board meetings, etc.)

· Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen and dining space

· Oversee student volunteers in the kitchen and teach cooking skills as able

· Other duties as assigned
