They require a Freelance SAP SD/MM Consultant to join them on a long‑term contract engagement.This role will focus on the design, configuration, and integration of SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules, ensuring alignment with the company’s transportation, logistics, and supply chain processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the functional design and configuration of SAP SD and MM within an S/4HANA environmentConfigure and manage customer master data, quotations, contracts, billing, procurement, and inventory managementCollaborate with ABAP and integration teams to translate business requirements into functional specificationsEnsure seamless integration with FI/CO, Logistics Execution, and external systems such as transportation management and planning toolsConduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)Provide post‑go‑live support and process optimisation guidanceWork closely with Finance, Supply Chain, and Technical teams to align on end‑to‑end solution designEnsure compliance with German and EU transportation and logistics regulationsAct as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and project leadershipRequired Skills & Qualifications5+ years of SAP consulting experience, including strong functional expertise in SD/MMProven hands‑on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projectsDeep understanding of Sales, Distribution, and Procurement processes within a transportation or logistics contextPractical configuration experience in pricing, account determination, procurement cycles, and material valuationFamiliarity with integration to FI/CO, TM, or external logistics platformsStrong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex functional issuesExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsFluent in English and German (both required)Location: Remote (based in Germany)This is an excellent opportunity for an SAP SD/MM Consultant to play a key role in a strategic S/4HANA transformation within Germany’s transportation sector — shaping scalable, efficient, and compliant digital processes across the organisation.Seniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesRail Transportation #J-18808-Ljbffr
