Administer prescribed medications and treatments. Greet patients and prepare them for physical examinations. Obtain height/weight, blood pressure and medical history information. Observe, record and report patient’s condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to the provider. Instruct patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions. Educate patient and family about diagnostic process, medications, nutrition and maintenance of health and wellness. Education and/or Experience Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable. One year of clinical practice preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of SD and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required. Work Schedule Monday - Friday; 72 hours every 2 weeks 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Occasional weekend (One Saturday morning shift every 8-12 weeks) Evening and Saturday Urgent Care rotation Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $22.75 - $31.50 per hour What Makes Avera Special?
