Event Sales Executive reports to Company’s President

Responsibilities: Represent our company and partners events, having a deep and comprehensive understanding of measurable objectives, and following with strategic research to identify how our events meet clients marketing or sales goals.

Identify appropriate prospects, set meetings, offer presentations (in-person & virtually), make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all event sponsorships categories offered.

Use business directories and leads from current clients to identify potential customers.

Establish relationships with new customers and maintain and grow relationships with existing ones.

Assist in preparing promotional material and sponsorship packages presentations to advertise sales opportunities.

Maintain knowledge of events timelines and sponsorship deadlines.

Prepare event participation proposals according with client’s budget or needs.

Strive to improve customer satisfaction through excellent customer service.

Keep a high level of knowledge about existing events and participation opportunities.

Follow up on customer proposals as necessary to close the sale.

Invoice sponsors and exhibitors once agreements have been reached

Anticipate the needs of clients and address them accordingly to offer CUBE additional services.

Prepare professional, complete, concise and accurate reports, proposals, and other documentation as required for executive presentations.

Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals through the successful implementation of sales strategies and tactics.

Qualifications for Sales Agent: Excellent oral and written communication skills (English/Spanish)

Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver excellent customer experience

Superior interpersonal skills

Ability to take initiative and work independently

Effective presentations and negotiation skills

High degree of professionalism

Good time-management skills with a problem solving attitude

Teamwork and leadership skills

Customer oriented mindset

Good familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet and CRM applications

2+ years of experience in sales

2+ years of experience in the industry
