AMI is seeking a full time Lead Receptionist The position will provide oversight and supervision to the Receptionist team in the Wall, NJ office location.

The Lead Receptionist is responsible for, but not limited to:

Supervises the day-to-day operations of the front desk, including staffing and scheduling needs, as well as coordination with other office locations regarding these matters;
Works effectively with the Front Desk Coordinator, Office Administrator, Chief Operating Officer, Director of Human Resources and other organizational leaders to meet the needs of the department & organization; functions as a liaison between management and staff;
Supervisory responsibilities including managing the front desk team, addressing performance issues, completion of staff evaluations, and training & orienting new team members;
Demonstrates exceptional customer service towards patients, visitors and employees at all times;
Functions as a staff Receptionist, demonstrating exemplary customer service and timely, accurate completion of tasks, leading by example and setting expectations for other front staff;
Ensures each Receptionist receives consistent, standardized training and development;
Develops expertise in the computer systems in place and is able to effectively trouble-shoot issues, ensure accurate usage & data entry, and train staff on systems; and
Performs other duties as required and assigned.

This full time, 40 hour per week position will be based in AMI's Wall, NJ office location. The work schedule includes Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and candidates must be flexible to work days and occasional evening & weekend coverage. Training for this position will take place in offices within the region.

Qualified candidates must have prior supervisory or management experience. Candidates must have a High School Diploma, or equivalent; some college coursework preferred. Experience in healthcare, a medical office, or hospital is preferred. Intermediate computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR are required. Leadership skills, exceptional verbal & written communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary to ensure success within this role. The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is required. Candidates must have the ability to energize the office and contribute to a positive work environment.
