Roles and Responsibilities Sourcing & Procurement Leadership Provide guidance/leadership to GEVAR Sourcing Buyers Responsible for ensuring scope/support established and executed from team of Sourcing Buyers (including PO, SM, AP etc.) Support Small Business Liaison Officer (SBLO) in their duties for GEVAR & compliance efforts on Commercial Sourcing on Government funded projects to include all required reporting, audits and process activities Oversee wing to wing sourcing process from identifying demands, developing sourcing strategy, identifying supply base, executing Request for Quotes, Negotiations, Purchase Order management and Accounts Payable resolution Responsible for both Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Develop and disseminate training materials and information to bring internal awareness to government procurement requirements and procedures, and internal sourcing procedures Ensure sourcing procedures are followed from identifying supplier base, executing request for quotes, terms negotiations, purchase order creation and management, and accounts payable resolution Negotiating and finalizing contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions, pricing, and delivery schedules Proactive supplier management (supplier adds, modifications, etc.) as required Collaborate with other GE Vernova sites and Global Commodity Leaders as needed to understand corporate commitments, customer needs, and to achieve best results for GE Vernova Establish, maintain and work to meet GEVAR Sourcing metrics on MR processing turnaround time, supplier management and others as needed Coordinate with Finance for quarter/year end closing activities Material Handling & Warehousing Leadership Lead and oversee all material handling and warehousing operations for the GE Vernova Advanced Research Center Develop and implement warehouse management strategies, processes, and best practices to optimize efficiency and safety Manage receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of materials and equipment Ensure proper handling, documentation, and tracking of all incoming and outgoing materials Coordinate with research teams to understand material requirements and support project timelines Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes Drive continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse operations and material flow Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all warehouse operations Manage warehouse staffing, training, and performance Required Qualifications This role requires significant experience in the Sourcing & Sourcing Management. Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Sourcing.) Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Base pay range: $125,000.00 - 208,300.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This posting is expected to close on November 13, 2025 or thereafter. The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
