Responsibilities Assists laboratory physicians and RNs in Cardiac Catheterization procedures. Provides care to a specific group of adult or geriatric patients consistent with Nursing Department policies. Shadows the department for learning. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years college or technical training, or equivalent experience. Will train in Interventional and Electrophysiology Procedures. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. NYS Radiologic Technologist License. American Registry or Radiologic Technology Certification, or eligible. General knowledge of specialized or technical field normally associated with an A.A. or A.S. degree. Maintains competency and proficiency with all Interventional and Electrophysiology equipment and procedures.
