The Regional Compliance Nurse (RN) partners with the Program Director and Site Leadership to develop and administer the Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. The RN monitors compliance with laws and regulations, process improvement initiatives, and implements clinical best practices. Maintain knowledge of and compliance with Medicare/Medicaid, state/federal regulations for hospice services. Ensure compliance with Medicare conditions of participation and state regulations. Assist with transition of new sites via acquisition. Identify and communicate clinical staff education needs to leadership. Promote positive motivation, identify deficiencies, develop action plans, educate staff, and implement QAPI solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Health Care (preferred). Current RN licensure in the state of practice. Residence within MA, NH, or RI and willingness to travel up to 75% within the region. Minimum 2 years of healthcare quality and compliance experience. Minimum 3 years of hospice experience. Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office, EMR systems, databases; Netsmart experience a plus. Demonstrated leadership skills in QAPI, strategic planning, and staff development. Compensation $105,000 - $120,000 per year (average pay range).
