In this role, our Facilities Technician III use their skills to conduct extensive hands-on analysis, maintenance and troubleshooting of facility operations within BHN properties and programs. Schedule: Monday & Fridays 7pm-3pm, with a four week on-call rotation What You'll Do: As a Facilities Technician III, your work will include installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of critical and non-critical mechanical and/or electrical machinery and controls located in the interior and exterior of the buildings in Springfield, MA. Key Responsibilities: Completes high level facilities related projects, work, and repairs including Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC as needed. Maintains, monitors, and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical facility mechanical, electrical equipment and other installed systems. Receives and executes facilities related work orders through Facility Departmental Computerized Maintenance Management System and finalizes work orders by completing necessary documentation in the computerized maintenance management system. Performs facility inspections and reports on conditions affecting operations and programs. Assists Departmental Managers and Directors in facilities project management as appropriate. Prepares and submits summary reports of conditions in facilities/sites and recommends actions to be taken. Reviews and understands equipment and methods of operation, BMS system, fire/life safety, and other systems. Complies with all safety procedures and requirements. Specialized and/or licensed level knowledge of facilities systems, preventative maintenance, and high level facilities projects. OSHA 10 Certification required. Or ability to obtain certification. Advanced knowledge of all facilities related safety standards and regulations such as fire, evacuation, equipment handling and failure, etc. Valid driver's license required.
