Shift 1 (United States of America) The Electrical Assembler (Line Wirer) is responsible for wiring machines, equipment and their subassemblies while following layouts, electrical circuits, and other written and verbal specifications. Work You'll Do: Read, comprehend, and interpret Wiring Diagrams Produce quality work in a time frame that meets the expectation of the Assembly Leads. Perform all line wiring operations. Recognize problems with electrical designs and parts, take appropriate corrective action to resolve. Analyze designs for correctness, functionality, and cost effectiveness. Perform Panel component changes as well as build panels. Build and wire multiple product lines. Complete Lockout / Tag out training using all required items when performing Lockout. Work safely and in an environmentally responsible manner. Communicate any discrepancies or errors on prints, materials list etc. Additional duties as specified by the Assembly Lead. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent knowledge (basic math, reading, writing) Basic computer skills Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in relevant field 3 plus years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Organization skills Willingness to learn Ability to demonstrate flexibility when confronted with high stress / emergency situations, priority changes, or new assignments. Ability to demonstrate personal leadership; actively participate in or lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
