ABOUT THE ROLE The position of Equipment Manager at VCC is a unique opportunity to manage a fleet and maintenance facility at a high-end private club, providing the selected candidate with all of the resources to be effective and successful. Our fleet consists primarily of newly leased Toro golf equipment, John Deere tractors, and a spacious workshop. The Director of Equipment Maintenance will also have the support of one Course Mechanic, whom he/she will direct and supervise to accomplish department goals. RESPONSIBILITIES Inspects, diagnoses, and repairs mechanical defects in various golf course maintenance equipment including diesel, electric, and gasoline-powered vehicles and other mechanical equipment used in utility work Maintains a preventive maintenance program for all equipment Creates schedules and directs mechanics to achieve daily departmental goals Ensures all in-service equipment is operational and safe for daily use Repairs and adjusts cutting mechanisms on various mowing equipment Prioritizes equipment repair and maintenance work Maintains accurate records of repairs and preventive maintenance Checks performance of and makes timely repairs to equipment on the course Maintains a clean, safe and orderly work environment Complies with OSHA safety standards and practices Manages and maintains compliance with all workshop regulatory requirements Other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager or other management of the Club #J-18808-Ljbffr
