Job Summary
The Utility A Start is a bargaining unit position which requires general knowledge and ability to perform basic construction related skills and utility skills such as, but not limited to, use of air and hand tools, equipment operation, pipefitting, MRSLIP, turn ons and shut offs, vehicle safety, safe material handling, afterhours work and exposure to weather.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Leak and CO response
- Meter work - building and replacing
- Locating facilities
- Turn on and Light ups
- Call out when judged qualified
- Good mechanical skills
- Availability for shift work and extended hours
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a valid PA Driver's license

Successful applicants shall be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment, and if hired, shall be subject to substance abuse testing in accordance with UGI policies.
