Enterprise Architect

Position OverviewThis role is onsite with an expectation to primarily work from an HPE office. The Enterprise Architect (Solutions) will manage relationships with large Global System Integrators (GSIs) such as Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, TCS, HCL, and others, while supporting the Global Account team. The role focuses on delivering cutting‑edge solutions aligned with HPE’s AI, Hybrid Cloud, and Networking offerings.Who We AreHewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is a global edge‑to‑cloud company advancing how people live and work. We connect, protect, analyze, and act on data and applications wherever they live, helping customers turn insights into outcomes at the speed they need.Key ResponsibilitiesGovern and pitch HPE’s technology strategy around AI, Hybrid Cloud, and Networking.Deliver technical presentations and consult on end‑to‑end solution designs.Support Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives for proposed solutions.Build accurate Bill of Materials (BoM) for solution offerings.Act as a subject matter expert in Virtualization, Compute & Storage, Data Center, Security, Campus & Branch.Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and long‑term engagement.Provide technical leadership and mentorship across cross‑functional teams.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical university.Minimum 15 years overall, including at least 10 years in Hardware Infrastructure Pre‑Sales (preferably with HPE/Dell/IBM/Oracle/Cisco/Broadcom‑VMware).Deep hands‑on technical expertise in pitching, demoing, and architecting complex solutions.Hands‑on experience with a major public cloud (Amazon, Azure, Google) – certifications preferred.Expertise selling a complete data lifecycle management portfolio – block, file, backup, ransomware protection, and others.Deep competitive knowledge of at least one major storage vendor.Demonstrable technical knowledge of the storage industry and major trends.Deep expertise in at least one major vertical (FSI, manufacturing, Healthcare) preferred.Knowledge & SkillsDeep technical skills in assigned area of specialization.Good knowledge of the company’s offerings, strategic initiatives, current trends, competitor products, and strategies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills – mastery of English and local languages.Consultative selling techniques, including active listening, framing, whiteboarding, storytelling, etc.Knowledge of company business, technical tools, and standard CRM systems.Working knowledge of social media, blogging, and related information sharing technologies.Solid understanding of partner offerings and effective partner engagement.Strong project management skills with analytical and problem‑solving abilities.Business and financial acumen, understanding of customer business roles.Experience in solution configurations and PoC creation to meet customer requirements.Additional SkillsAccountability, Active Learning, Active Listening, Assertiveness, Bias, Building Rapport, Buyer Personas, Coaching, Complex Sales, Creativity, Critical Thinking, Cross‑Functional Teamwork, Customer Experience Strategy, Customer Interaction, Design Thinking, Empathy, Financial Acumen, Follow‑Through, Growth Mindset, Identifying Sales Opportunities, Industry Knowledge, Intellectual Curiosity, Long Term Planning, Managing Ambiguity.BenefitsHealth & WellbeingComprehensive benefits supporting physical, financial, and emotional wellbeing for team members and their loved ones.Personal & Professional DevelopmentPrograms to help achieve career goals, including expertise development and cross‑division skill application.Unconditional InclusionInclusive workplace celebrating individual uniqueness and offering flexibility to balance work and personal needs.CompensationAnnual Salary USD 175,000–411,500 in New Jersey and Texas.
