The successful candidate will possess excellent judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills and will thrive working individually or as part of a diverse team. Resort Security officers work closely with police, fire, and medical agencies during investigations, prevention efforts, and training. Job Specifications: Expected Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.49 / hour Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round Skill Level: Advanced Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Maintains a daily log of all activities throughout the shift. Maintains key and access control of Vail Properties & mountain road access gates. Job Qualifications: Valid driver's license and clean driving record- required. Experience in dealing with emergencies. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Proficiency in MS Office - required. Ability to work on your feet for up to 10 hours in a high-altitude mountain environment in inclement weather- required. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs- required. At least 2 years of security experience - preferred. At least 2 years hospitality guest service experience in a resort setting - preferred. Professional writing experience - preferred. Strong communication skills with a variety of staff and guests- required. Commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace- required. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. The expected pay range is $22.00 - $25.49. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
