Staff Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Staff Accountant will make journal entries (for both Association & Foundations)
- Staff Accountant will not do bank reconciliations but will record bank transactions (for both Association & Foundations)
- Staff Accountant will be point of contact for remote deposits from chapters and districts throughout the country
- This will require client interaction/customer service.
- Typically email follow up. Sometimes follow up calls
- Volume of deposits ranges from 3-50/day.
- Staff Accountant will manage PayPal account. Staff Accountant will be only employee assigned to PayPal- will deal directly with the chapters. Staff Accountant will process weekly downloads of transactions. Typically, there are several hundred PayPal transactions
Requirements:
- Ideally 3+ years accounting experience
- Understanding of US GAAP
- Degree is a plus but not required
- Excel - should be familiar with VLOOKUP's
