Position CMM Programmer 2nd Shift Location Heritage Fac-Grand Prairie TX, Grand Prairie, TX, US Job Title Job Title: CMM Programmer-2nd Shift Department/Reporting Department: Quality Reports to: Quality Manager Location Location: Grand Prairie, Texas Employment Type Full/Part Time: Full time FLSA Classification: Exempt CBA: No Security Clearance Req: No Duties/Responsibilities: CMM programming and operating CMM (PC DMIS) Ability to understand and perform basic inspection and testing techniques, including use of various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.). Conduct testing procedures during manufacturing to ensure product complies with AS9100/ISO9001 quality standards. Perform FAI and final inspections, including AS9102 documentation. Read and interpret blueprints including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Documentation of Nonconforming material per quality system requirements. Determining whether the product is acceptable or unacceptable per work order and customer requirements. Qualifications Requirements: Minimum: PC DMIS experience Prior quality inspector experience Effective verbal and written communication, including use of Microsoft Office products High school diploma or equivalent Authorized to work in the United States. ITAR/EAR clearance is required. Preferred: Aerospace quality inspector experience Experience operating and programming a CMM Experience in Calibration Physical Demands Physical Demands: This maintenance classification activity is usually accomplished in an indoor workshop environment. Activities may include climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands. May require lifting of objects whose weight normally will not exceed 50 lbs. Special vision abilities required to perform this job are close and peripheral vision, and acceptable depth perception. Noise levels range from quiet to extremely loud.
