Display Electrical Engineer

OverviewAt Meta Reality Labs, we are developing the future of Wearables and Mixed Reality (MR) products. As a Display Electrical Engineer, you will be a member of our Reality Labs AR display engineering organization, involved with display module electrical design along with validation and verification, be the point of contact and interface to the product development and other cross functional teams, in order to develop leading-edge technologies and designs, and work with the current and evolving ecosystem to drive innovations to our HW platforms. You will be part of a team working on AR wearable products.ResponsibilitiesLead related activities in display module development, qualification, and support integration to the system from development phase to mass productionDesign, simulate, prototype, and test electrical systems while working closely with FPGA, FW/SW, silicon design engineers, and customer teamsPerform testing, validation, verification, and debug for any display electrical related issuesPerform display bring-up, testing, and troubleshooting of componentsIdentify display related failures and provide solutions to mitigate the issueDesign of PCBs, rigid and flexible boardsWork with internal cross-functional teams to establish display module system integration and analysisWork with supply chain teams for display module and component vendor evaluation and selectionMinimum QualificationsBachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience8+ years of electrical design experience in display moduleExperience in display electrical subsystem design, testing, and system integrationExperience with electrical lab equipment for display testingExperience with display electrical interfaces standards and familiar with display or touch subsystem protocolsExperience in delivering high-volume consumer productsExperience with communicating with colleagues, team, and cross-functional partnersPreferred QualificationsMaster or Ph.D. degree in Electrical EngineeringIn-depth understanding of display technologies and display module, display panel, and display IC designKnowledge of electrical signal integrity, simulations, display or system power delivery, and display electrical test system developmentExperience with display electrical subsystem design/testing/validation/implementationExperience with display module PCB/flex design, interfaces standards, display driver IC, and display backlightCompensationPublic Compensation: $170,000/year to $240,000/year + bonus + equity + benefitsIndustry: InternetEqual OpportunityMeta is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
