The SA is able to architect end to end solutions by understanding and translating customer needs into technical solutions. The SA will play a key role in the design of the Azure architecture for mobile and web applications.ResponsibilitiesJOB DUTIESThe Kubernetes Engineer established direction and provides guidance to team membersThe Kubernetes Engineer is expected to demonstrate mastery of the following activities:Define the technical and architectural vision for the solution under development by technical trade-offs and analysis of alternativesContinuously evolve solution architecture with input and feedback from application architects and software engineersOutline the primary components and interfaces of the solution, and their interactionsPlan and develop the architecture runway enablers through research, prototyping, and other activities needed to explore prospective solutions and evaluate alternativesWorks with Product Manager, Product Owner, Application Architect and Software engineering teams to elaborate product requirements into technical requirements which are used to develop stories that can be estimated accuratelyParticipates in Scrum of Scrums to understand and remove architectural impediments/blockersParticipates in Solution Demo and program planning and identifies opportunities for improvementPerform other duties as assignedConform with all company policies and proceduresQualificationsWhat makes you a dream candidate?Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean, XP) and cross-functional teamsAdvanced knowledge of multi-tier application architecture design, application development (full SDLC) and application integrationAdvanced knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture concepts – SOAP, Web API, REST API and microservicesAdvanced knowledge implementing solution architecture including one or more of the following domains: technology architecture, information architecture, data architecture, application architecture, security architecture, and integration architectureSkillsAbility to overcome steep learning curve within a short period of time on any subject and speak intelligently about the subjectAbility to multitask and work independently with minimal direction and maximum accountabilityAbility to self-manage time and priorities in a complex multi-team agile environment while maintaining high-quality deliverablesWorks through others to achieve more than individual contributionStrong communication skills – proficient in communicating technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences of varying skillset and levels of the organizationAdditional Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesExperience with Adobe Marketing Cloud products preferredExperience with mobile application development preferredExperience in building cloud solutions architecture using Public Clouds (IaaS and PaaS) preferredExperience in containerization – Docker, Docker Swarm or Kubernetes preferredEducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work or military experience preferredExperience6-8 years experience as an Architect with a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions and delivering business values required4-6 years practical experience in software engineering requiredSalaryThe base salary range for this role is: USD $114,400.00 to $217,400.00.
