Network Engineer V with Security Clearance Join to apply for the Network Engineer V with Security Clearance role at Integral Federal, Inc. The position supports the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) Academic Network, administering, maintaining, securing, and accrediting the DLIFLC Academic Network for all teaching and instructional staff. Responsibilities Lead network engineering, monitoring, testing, and analyzing all network facilities. Plan, install, maintain, and troubleshoot network equipment during and after hours. Ensure datacenter operates 24x7 with DoD‑directed updates and security patches. Monitor, document, and control network performance for response time, throughput, and availability. Identify and resolve hardware/software issues on wireless and hardwired network components. Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies with emerging technologies. Manage IP addressing schemes and DNS for maximum availability. Implement and maintain cybersecurity network boundaries, intrusion detection, and incident response. Research and recommend best practices for controlling and monitoring network access. Maintain reliability and security of DLIFLC voice, data, and wireless services. Qualifications BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years experience (or AA/AS with 7+ years). 10+ years relevant experience with network infrastructure, preferably Extreme Networks products. Strong knowledge of networking concepts: LAN, WAN, routing, switching, VLAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, network security. Certified to work on Extreme Networks products and hold relevant industry certifications. Expertise in troubleshooting complex network issues and implementing solutions. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Experience managing network projects: planning, implementation, documentation, upgrades, migrations. Certifications: IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, SSCP) and CE/OS. CCNA or equivalent required. VMware NSX (V6.2) installation/configuration. Knowledge of Ruckus, Palo Alto, Brocade/MPLS, Cisco, Aruba, Ciena, Extreme Network switches, SolarWinds, InMon, Sentinel, Uptrends. Security Clearance & Compensation Secret Clearance. Salary range: $125,000 - $165,000 plus overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses.
