Information Technology Project Coordinator My client is actively seeking an IT Project Coordinator for their Chicago based headquarters. This opportunity is onsite 2-3 days per week in Chicago, IL. Description The ideal individual will be required to perform and/or assist with configurations relating to internal moves, adds, and changes of host resources (SHARES, SPERRY UNIVAC and MVS) in the mainframe system. The ideal individual must maintain tracking of all host resources associated to the hostnames. Provide resolution to host resource issues for Proprietary or Common Use workstations and resolve incident tickets opened by the Service Desk; these updates must be descriptive and timely. Other duties required will consist of performing/assisting with reclaiming host addressing using published processes and procedures. Manage printer drivers and profiles for each printer in Uniteds fleet of MFP printers. Provides level 3 phone support to Field Services, ESP technicians, FSTS Tech support, Unimatic Coverage, Service Desk, and the Network Operations Center (NOC). In addition to the documented responsibilities, Host Provisioning always gives priority support to the NOC. We may be called off hours as the need arises, and we have completed many provisioning of resources via VPN on off hours to ensure productivity and users' access to systems when required. Skills & Qualifications Sperry UNIVAC (UNIMATIC) resources (PIDs) are added into SILAS dynamically into a temporary file. A monthly task takes those updates and creates a new master file in Unimatic. The ideal individual will need to know the steps to update the master file. Proficient experience with ServiceNow, including some knowledge of building reports and dashboards. Proficient experience in the Microsoft suite, specifically Excel. Knowledgeable in basic PowerShell scripting. Knowledgeable in Vaison PrintLogic. Two years of experience with PC printers and peripheral hardware.
